Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturer within the signage and graphics industry, delivering high-quality products to customers across a wide range of sectors.

They are now looking to recruit an experienced Production Supervisor to lead their Vinyl & Print department.

The Role

This is a hands-on supervisory position where you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Vinyl & Print department, ensuring production runs efficiently, quality standards are maintained, and customer deadlines are consistently achieved.

You'll work closely with the Production Manager and wider production team to coordinate workloads, solve day-to-day challenges and keep the department operating safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily operation of the Vinyl & Print department.
  • Allocate workload across the team to maximise productivity.
  • Ensure jobs are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
  • Carry out final quality inspections before work progresses through production.
  • Liaise with production and other departments to maintain workflow.
  • Monitor stock levels and order materials when required.
  • Support and motivate the team while maintaining high standards.
  • Ensure machinery checks and routine maintenance schedules are completed.
  • Promote a safe, organised and efficient working environment.

About You

We're looking for someone who has experience within large format print, signage, graphics or a similar production environment and enjoys leading from the front.

You'll ideally have

  • Previous supervisory or team leader experience.
  • Background within large format print, vinyl application, signage or graphics production.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive, proactive and hands-on approach.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to motivate a team.
