About the role
Our client is seeking a hands-on Engineering Technician to support maintenance, installation, commissioning and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in ensuring equipment is safe, reliable and operating efficiently while supporting wider engineering projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Support planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment
- Fault find and repair mechanical and electrical systems
- Assist with installation, relocation and commissioning of machinery
- Support automation upgrades and process improvements
- Carry out fabrication, fitting and equipment adjustments
- Assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions
- Collaborate with engineering, production and maintenance teams
- Support contractors during service and installation work
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
