Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum DOE Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm About the Role Our client is a well-established engineering and manufacturing business delivering advanced power, monitoring and control solutions across a range of specialist industries.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Electromechanical Assembly Technician to join their skilled Assembly team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a practical engineering background who enjoys hands-on assembly work and takes pride in building high-quality products from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electromechanical components and systems from engineering drawings, schematics and BOMs.
- Install contactors, MCBs, RCBOs, sensors, wiring harnesses and PCBs.
- Carry out wiring, cable routing and soldering work to a high standard.
- Ensure correct insulation, earthing and compliance with electrical safety requirements.
- Complete mechanical fastening and electrical assembly tasks accurately.
- Maintain quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. What We're Looking For
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, Eplan and Auto CAD documentation.
- Experience using hand tools, crimpers and soldering equipment.
- Strong wiring, crimping and soldering skills.
- Reliable, proactive and safety-conscious approach.
- Enthusiastic team player with a willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in electromechanical assembly, electrical manufacturing, lift engineering or similar environments would be advantageous. Why Join Our Client?
