Overview
CNC Setter (Milling) – Sittingbourne. Permanent, full-time role. Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm (40 hours per week). Salary: £15 – £18 per hour (DOE).
Responsibilities
- Set and operate CNC milling machines
- Work with 3-axis and 5-axis machinery
- Load programs, set up jobs and run production efficiently
- Follow structured processes to maintain consistent quality standards
- Monitor production output and ensure components meet specifications
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet targets
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
About You
- Proven experience as a CNC Setter within a milling environment
- Knowledge of CNC controls such as Heidenhain, Fanuc or Siemens
- Practical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
- Reliable, adaptable, and able to follow structured procedures
- Team player with a consistent and conscientious work ethic
