The Role You'll be responsible for maintaining production equipment and site services, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and helping to improve reliability across both sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PPM and reactive maintenance
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
- Support utilities including steam, compressed air, refrigeration and electrical systems
- Maintain bakery and packaging machinery
- Record maintenance activities using CMMS
- Support equipment upgrades, installations and projects
- Conduct root cause analysis to reduce downtime
- Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and food manufacturing standards
What We're Looking For
- Engineering apprenticeship or recognised engineering qualification
- Multi-skilled maintenance experience within manufacturing
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Experience with three-phase systems, motors, drives and pneumatics
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics
- CMMS experience
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Food manufacturing, bakery or FMCG experience
- PLC fault-finding skills
- 18th Edition qualification
- Boiler or steam systems knowledge
- IOSH, HACCP or MEWP certification
