About the Role
Our Client is seeking dedicated and reliable Metal Finishers to join their busy manufacturing team in Sittingbourne. This is a hands‑on role ideally suited to individuals who enjoy practical work, are comfortable working with machinery, and take pride in producing high‑quality finished products. Whether you already have manufacturing experience or are looking to build a career within a thriving production environment, full training will be provided. For the right candidates, there is a genuine opportunity to secure a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare products for the finishing process.
- Carry out metal finishing duties to required quality standards.
- Operate workshop equipment and machinery safely.
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the production area.
- Perform manual handling duties safely and efficiently.
- Inspect finished products and identify defects or quality concerns.
- Pack completed products ready for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Follow all company Health & Safety procedures and policies.
About You
Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or another hands‑on environment is beneficial but not essential. Good attention to detail and commitment to quality. Comfortable carrying out physical work and manual handling tasks. Reliable, punctual, and hardworking. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Flexible to work either night shifts or rotating shifts.
