SEND Lecturer - North London
Morgan Hunt is working with further education colleges in North London seeking SEND Lecturers to support learners with additional needs.

Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to learners' individual needs and abilities.
- Support learners with SEND, including autism, learning difficulties and complex needs.
- Adapt teaching methods and resources to encourage participation and progress.
- Monitor and record progress against individual targets and EHCP outcomes.
- Work closely with Learning Support Assistants and wider college teams.
- Help learners develop communication, independence and skills for adulthood.
- Maintain a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
- A recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching learners with SEND, ideally within further education.
- Strong communication, organisation and classroom management skills.
- A learner-centred approach and an understanding of safeguarding.
- An Enhanced DBS covering the relevant workforce, ideally registered with the Update Service.
