A temporary Compliance Manager role for 3‑6 months, leading statutory compliance and health & safety across a large housing portfolio. Requires a minimum of 3 days a week in the Selkirk office and visits to tenants' homes on an ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing compliance inspections and associated works
- Leading and developing a compliance team
- Overseeing contractor performance, procurement and budgets
- Monitoring risk, compliance data and KPI reporting
- Supporting health & safety, CDM and audit functions
- Driving service improvement and customer satisfaction
- Comprehensive knowledge of housing construction methods, repairs and best practice
Qualifications
- Experience of working with risk management systems
- Experience of developing technical specifications
- Understanding of the role of the Scottish Housing Regulator
- A relevant technical qualification (or equivalent experience) and a full UK driving licence are required
