Together we are seeking to appoint SEN Support Assistant
Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Job Type: Temporary
Location: East London

Length of contract: Temporary - Ongoing
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of the Supported Learning Team to support and include learners with learning difficulties, disabilities, and other barriers to learning within the curriculum
- Support the quality of teaching and learning across curriculum areas
- Support the progress and attainment of identified learners with additional SEND/EHCPs to achieve success in their course of study
- Promote the highest level of independence for each student while ensuring they are always in a safe and healthy environment
- Provide personal care for students who require it
Skills & Experience
- Experience in learning support or support work with young people with learning disabilities (e.g. autism, ADHD)
- Experience working within an educational environment providing academic or personal care support
- Experience with or willingness to provide personal care support to individuals with high needs
- Available to interview immediately
- Right to Work in the UK and an Enhanced Adult & Child DBS dated within the last 3 months or registered on the update service
