The role
- Provide one-to-one and group support to help learners stay engaged and make progress.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality and achievement, addressing concerns early.
- Work with learners to set meaningful targets and review their development.
- Deliver tutorials covering personal development, wellbeing and progression.
- Liaise with teaching staff and support teams to ensure learners receive the right support.
- Maintain accurate records and raise safeguarding concerns through the appropriate channels.
What we're looking for
- Experience supporting young people in an education, mentoring or pastoral setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with learners.
- A proactive, empathetic approach to supporting students with different needs.
- Good organisational skills and confidence managing a caseload.
- An understanding of safeguarding and promoting learner welfare.
