About the Role:
- Job Title: Plumbing Lecturer
- Location: A college in Lewisham
- Start Date: 1st August 2025
- Contract Type: Ongoing temporary with potential to become permanent
- Working Hours: Full-time, including two evening teaching sessions per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM )
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and practical plumbing lessons to students.
- Support learners in developing industry-standard skills and achieving their qualifications.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback in line with awarding body standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to continually improve the curriculum and student experience.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Hold a recognised Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA, or equivalent) OR an Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) qualification.
- Industry experience in plumbing.
