People Partner – Rail/Transportation sector – East London – £55,000
This is an exciting opportunity for a People Partner to join a forward thinking organisation in the rail and transportation sector. This newly created People Partner role will support and drive their people agenda as they grow and evolve.
Your key responsibilities will include:-
- Acting as a trusted partner to business leaders, providing expert advice on people-related matters
- Advising on organisational design, talent management, and change management initiatives
- Providing guidance on employee relations issues and supporting leadership in managing performance
- Supporting the recruitment process to attract top talent for key roles
- Championing employee engagement initiatives and monitoring overall employee satisfaction
- Identifying training and development needs and work with Learning & Development teams to design relevant programs
You should be an experienced People Partner or HR Business Partner with a strong HR Generalist skill set gained working in a fast paced customer focused environment. Experience of the rail or transportation sector would be beneficial but is not essential. A strong understanding of UK employment law, industrial relations, and compliance needs to be combined with experience of change management. You will also need experience of improving employee engagement and coaching managers.
Ideally you will CIPD level 5 qualified.
