This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified mechanical engineering professional to step into or continue their journey in education, helping to train and inspire the next generation of engineers.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching in Mechanical Engineering
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback in line with awarding body requirements
- Support learners in developing both theoretical knowledge and practical skills
- Contribute to curriculum planning, development, and ongoing improvement
- Maintain accurate records of learner achievement and progression
What We're Looking For
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, DTLLS, Cert Ed, PGCE, or equivalent)
- An assessing qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
- A strong background in Mechanical Engineering (e.g. maintenance, design, manufacturing, or CAD)
- Experience teaching or mentoring within an education or training setting (desirable)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
