Position: Health and Social Care Lecturer
Location: East London (Loughton)

Pay: Up to £36 per hour
Workdays: 5 days per week

Role Overview:
- Teach and assess Health & Social Care courses for 14-19 and adult learners.
- Deliver programmes from Entry Level to Level 3, including college-based qualifications and workforce development.
- Act as a personal tutor/course coordinator for designated students.
- Support student achievement, progression, retention and development.
- Must have a DBS on the update service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, student-centred lessons and assessments.
- Develop schemes of work, syllabuses, learning materials and outcomes.
- Monitor and record student progress, assessment and attendance/discipline.
- Provide regular feedback, tutorial and pastoral support.
- Support admissions, enrolment, induction and student tracking.
- Work with employers and other agencies regarding placements and career opportunities.
- Maintain course records and prepare documentation for internal/external moderators and verifiers.
- Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance and course reviews.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, equality and GDPR requirements.
