Vice Principal – Business Development & Employer Engagement
Hugh Baird College is seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Vice Principal – Business Development & Employer Engagement to drive strategic partnerships, unlock new income opportunities and ensure the College continues to deliver outstanding outcomes for learners, employers and the wider community.
This is more than a leadership role – it is an opportunity to shape the future of skills, education and employer engagement across the Liverpool City Region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance employer engagement.
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership.
- Lead initiatives to improve student employability and work placements.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of engagement strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development or employer engagement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
Education Requirements
- Professional certifications in business development or related fields are advantageous.
Experience Requirements
- Significant experience in a leadership role within the education or business sector.
- Experience in developing partnerships and networks.
- Understanding of the further education landscape.
