Reporting to Senior Procurement Specialist
This is a UK based role, and you are required to have the Right to Work in the UK.
Role Overview
The Procurement Co-ordinator will support the Procurement team with the coordination of purchasing activities, supplier communication, and internal stakeholder engagement. This role is suited to an organised, proactive individual who enjoys working cross-functionally and supporting day-to-day procurement operations in a fast-paced environment.
Purpose
To support the effective running of procurement activities by coordinating purchase orders, maintaining accurate data, and acting as a key point of communication between suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Raise, track, and maintain purchase orders in line with agreed plans
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm order details, timelines, and documentation
- Act as a key contact between Procurement and internal teams, ensuring clear and timely communication
- Support resolution of delivery, quality, or invoicing queries by coordinating information
- Maintain accurate procurement data within systems and spreadsheets
- Assist with cross-functional projects, including support for new product launches
Skills and Experience
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident working with data, systems, and Microsoft Excel
- Proactive, reliable, and solutions-focused
- Experience in a procurement, supply chain, or coordination role
- Exposure to FMCG, retail, or consumer goods environments (desirable)
- Interest in developing a career in procurement (e.g. CIPS)
