Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement media plans to maximise opportunities.
- Handle media enquiries, draft statements, and manage press office activities.
- Build relationships with journalists and secure coverage for campaigns and initiatives.
- Create engaging content for publications, reports, and digital channels.
- Support the production and promotion of the charity's podcast series.
- Monitor and evaluate media coverage and PR activity.
Person Specification
- Degree or equivalent experience in PR, communications, or journalism.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a media environment (press office, PR agency, or journalism).
- Strong writing, project management, and media relations skills.
- Experience with social media and multimedia storytelling.
- Passion for making a difference and working in a charity environment.
