We are seeking a skilled and motivated MEP Revit Technician to join our clients growing Building Services team. Working alongside M&E design engineers, you will be responsible for producing high-quality BIM models and technical drawings for various projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about BIM technology to join a leading Glasgow based engineering consultancy. Due to the nature of work involved candidates must be able to obtain SC clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed MEP Revit models and coordinated drawings in accordance with project requirements.
- Develop and maintain BIM models throughout all project stages, from concept through to construction.
- Prepare layouts, schematics, sections, and technical drawings for mechanical, electrical, and public health systems.
- Coordinate MEP services with architectural, structural, and other design disciplines.
- Participate in clash detection exercises and model coordination meetings.
- Ensure compliance with company BIM standards, industry regulations, and project-specific requirements.
- Manage and update project documentation and drawing registers.
- Support engineers with design development and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an MEP Revit Technician within the building services industry.
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
- Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and public health building services.
- Experience using Navisworks for model coordination and clash detection.
- Knowledge of BIM standards and workflows.
- Ability to produce accurate and coordinated technical drawings.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
