English Lecturers (GCSE & Functional Skills) - Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities
Location: London - Harrow
Salary: £32,455 to £45,260 per annum including London Weighting (pro rata for part-time roles)
Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their potential in English? We are seeking committed and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as one full-time Lecturer and two part-time Lecturers to deliver GCSE and Functional Skills English within a cross-College provision.
You will primarily be working with 16-18-year-old vocational learners, helping them to develop their English skills to progress onto higher-level courses or enter the workforce. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a tangible difference in learners' lives.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree or equivalent in English or a related subject (Alternatively, a Level 3 qualification with at least two years of successful experience teaching English/Literacy/ESOL/EFL)
- Experience teaching GCSE, Functional Skills, ESOL, EFL, or literacy
- The ability to engage and motivate learners from a range of vocational backgrounds
- A Level 5 teaching qualification or a willingness to work towards one (with full support provided)
