This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced trades professional who wants to move into education, or for an existing lecturer looking for a new permanent position.ð The RoleAs a Carpentry Lecturer, you will: Deliver engaging practical and theory-based Carpentry & Joinery lessonsTeach learners across relevant Carpentry and Joinery programmesPlan and prepare lessons and practical workshop activitiesAssess learner work and provide constructive feedbackMonitor learner progress and support achievementMaintain accurate learner and assessment recordsEnsure a safe, professional and well-managed workshop environmentUse your industry experience to prepare learners for employment in the construction sectorð· About YouWe are looking for someone with: Strong practical Carpentry & Joinery experienceA relevant industry qualificationGood knowledge of workshop practices and Health & SafetyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA genuine interest in supporting and developing learnersPrevious teaching, training or lecturing experience is desirableExperienced carpenters and joiners looking to move into Further Education are encouraged to apply.
