We are currently recruiting for an Tenancy Support Case Worker to join Providence Row's Advice & Support Team, supporting individuals who are homeless, rough sleeping or at risk of homelessness across Tower Hamlets.
Location: London - Tower Hamlets / East London
Pay: Β£20-Β£22 per hour Umbrella
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: Temporary
DBS: Enhanced C + A
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of clients, completing assessments and developing personalised support plans and goals.
- Provide advice and support around housing, accommodation, benefits, finances and tenancy sustainment.
- Make housing referrals and support clients to access appropriate accommodation through local authority and other housing options services.
- Support clients to access mental health, substance misuse, healthcare, training and employment services.
- Identify and refer safeguarding concerns, including domestic abuse, sexual exploitation, modern slavery and adult social care needs.
- Work closely with housing providers, local authorities, health services and other partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
- Maintain accurate case records and client information using the Inform database.
- Build strong relationships with clients, partner agencies and housing providers to increase access to suitable accommodation.
About You:
- Experience supporting people who are homeless, rough sleeping or at risk of homelessness.
- Good understanding of housing legislation, including the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 and Part VII of the Housing Act 1996.
- Experience of key working, case management and developing personalised support plans.
- Strong communication, organisation and IT skills.
- Ability to manage challenging situations while maintaining professional boundaries.
- A compassionate, respectful, inclusive and empowering approach to supporting vulnerable adults.
- Experience working collaboratively with internal and external agencies.
