Morgan Hunt are delighted to be supporting a public sector organisation in London as they look to welcome a Procurement Lead on a 6 month FTC basis. This will be to support the IT function as they look to re-tender. You will work closely with the Head of IT and Head of Finance.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end procurement process for IT and digital contracts.
- Coordinate contract retender activity in line with public procurement regulations and organisational governance.
- Develop procurement documentation including specifications, evaluation criteria, and tender packs.
- Support supplier engagement and clarification activities.
- Manage evaluation processes and provide procurement advice to stakeholders.
- Ensure robust contract governance, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Work collaboratively with digital, finance, legal, and operational teams.
Personal Specification:
- Proven experience managing public sector procurements, particularly ICT or digital services contracts.
- Strong understanding of UK public procurement regulations and frameworks.
- Experience drafting tender documentation and evaluating bids.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and project coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
- MCIPS qualification or equivalent experience desirable.
