Β£20-Β£23 per hour PAYE + Holiday Pay
Monday, Wednesday & Friday | 9:00am-5:00pm

Are you an experienced Service Manager with a strong background in homelessness, supported accommodation or Housing First?
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Interim Service Manager to lead the Harbour Project on a part-time basis until the start of November.
Key Duties
- Lead the day-to-day management and operational delivery of the Harbour Project.
- Manage, support and supervise the frontline team.
- Embed Housing First, trauma-informed and person-centred approaches.
- Oversee complex cases, safeguarding, risk, ASB and tenancy-related issues.
- Ensure residents receive effective support focused on tenancy sustainment, wellbeing and independence.
- Work closely with local authorities, commissioners and external agencies including mental health, substance misuse, probation and NHS services.
- Monitor service quality, performance and compliance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Respond effectively to incidents, safeguarding concerns and urgent operational issues.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous Service Manager or senior management experience within homelessness, supported housing, Housing First or a related service.
- Experience managing and developing frontline support staff.
- Strong experience with safeguarding, risk management and complex case management.
- Experience supporting people experiencing homelessness, substance misuse, mental health difficulties and/or multiple complex needs.
- A strong understanding of trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- Experience working with multiple agencies and external stakeholders.
Housing First experience would be highly advantageous.
