Chief Financial Officer Inspire Education Group | Peterborough, Cambridgeshire and Stamford, Lincolnshire Salary: £115,000-120,000 per annum | Contract: Permanent | Hybrid: 1 day per week from home. Inspire Education Group (IEG) is seeking an exceptional Chief Financial Officer to lead its financial strategy, inspire high performance and deliver continued excellence across a dynamic and ambitious educational group. About the Role As Chief Financial Officer, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of IEG – a high-performing, forward-thinking education group comprising Peterborough College, Stamford College and University Centre Peterborough. Working closely with the CEO and Group Executive Team, you\’ll lead the strategic financial planning and performance of the organisation, ensuring we remain agile, sustainable and ambitious in an evolving education landscape. What We\’re Looking For We are seeking a qualified accountant (or equivalent) with significant experience in senior-level financial leadership, ideally within further education or a comparable sector. You\’ll bring: A strong track record in strategic financial planning , audit, risk management and budget delivery Inspiring leadership with the ability to build strong, motivated teams and collaborative relationships Deep knowledge of financial and accounting standards and a commitment to robust governance and transparency Experience of driving change , service improvement and organisational growth A clear commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of leadership and decision-making The ability to thrive under pressure, balancing strategy with empathy, vision with detail Desirable experience includes working knowledge of FE funding , policy and quality assurance frameworks.
