We are currently recruiting for an experienced Interim Team Leader to join a busy and fast‑paced Compliance & Student Records team within a Further Education setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong administrator and confident people manager with experience within student records, enrolment, MIS, compliance, or apprenticeship administration. The successful candidate will lead a team of 4 staff, ensuring enrolment and back‑office data is processed accurately, efficiently, and within required deadlines, while supporting operational delivery during a busy enrolment period.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and manage a team of 4 administrators
- Ensure enrolment and student records data is entered accurately and in a timely manner
- Manage team workloads, shared inboxes, and data change requests
- Support the processing of Apprenticeship learner documentation from enrolment through to completion
- Maintain high levels of compliance and data accuracy across all records
- Support front‑facing enrolment services during busy summer periods
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with staff working across multiple sites via Teams and email
- Work closely with the Audit & Compliance Manager to support departmental objectives
Experience & Skills Required
- Previous experience within Compliance, MIS, Student Records, Admissions, Enrolment, or Apprenticeship Administration
- Experience managing or supervising staff within a busy administrative environment
- Knowledge of ProSolution is highly desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
- Experience within Further Education or a college environment would be advantageous
Location
Based primarily at Sutton Coldfield with occasional travel to other college sites when required.
