Overview Morgan Hunt are working with a leading national Charity who are looking to recruit a Senior Special Needs Job Coach in Birmingham. This is a full time, permanent contract paying £33,500. The role will be office based as well as visiting local employers. The primary purpose of this role is to manage a team of SEN Job Coaches who are responsible for supporting special needs learners in the classroom with employability coaching to secure job outcomes. The successful candidate will need to be able to travel across Birmingham.
Responsibilities
- Leading a team of Job Coaches to ensure learner employment targets are achieved
- Collaborating with employers to maintain stakeholder relationships
- Ensuring all documentation completed by the Job Coaches adheres to company and external funding criteria
- Conducting quality assurance checks to drive improvement
- Collaborating with Tutors and management to ensure learners are fully supported in the classroom
Requirements
- Have experience of working with learners with special educational needs
- Worked with post 16 learners preferably within an employability setting
- Management experience within employability
- Be qualified to a minimum of Grade C in GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
- Have a full UK driving licence and access to their own car
