We\’re currently recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a thriving mainstream secondary school in the Waltham Cross area of Hertfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to help students achieve their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.
The Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you\’ll provide essential classroom and one-to-one support to students with a range of additional needs. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting SEND students in lessons across different subjects
- Helping students during break times, school trips, and extracurricular activities
- Using positive behaviour strategies to encourage engagement and well-being
- Working closely with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to ensure students thrive
