Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Developing learners' communication, independence and employability skills
- Monitoring progress and adapting lessons to support achievement
- Working closely with learning support staff and the wider SEND team
- Creating a safe, inclusive and encouraging learning environment
- A recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, QTS or Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training
- Experience teaching learners with SEND
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- A patient, flexible and learner-focused approach
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
