Role
Project Worker to support clients who have moved on from 24-hour hostel services into 8 properties in Westminster, providing practical and emotional support to clients as they develop their independence, maintain their accommodation and move towards greater stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of around 10 clients.
- Provide regular 1-2-1 support and practical assistance.
- Support clients with independent living skills and maintaining their accommodation.
- Assist with housing, benefits, health, substance misuse and other support needs.
- Liaise with external agencies and partner organisations.
- Complete support plans, risk assessments and case notes.
- Identify and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns.
- Work across 8 buildings, so being comfortable walking between locations is essential.
About You
- Previous experience working with homeless clients, rough sleepers or vulnerable adults.
- Experience within supported housing, hostels or similar services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident managing a caseload independently.
- Comfortable working across multiple locations and being on your feet throughout the day.
- Person-centred, proactive and able to build positive relationships with clients.
