The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 Β£ per hour.

Location: West London

Contract: Temporary

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (rota-based, Monday-Sunday)

Pay Rate: Β£15.88 per hour (Β£14.17 + Β£1.71 holiday pay)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team on a temporary basis. You will work within a psychologically informed service, supporting individuals with complex needs to maintain their accommodation, improve wellbeing, and progress towards positive move-on outcomes. This role involves working across early and late shifts on a rota basis, including alternate weekends.

Shift Pattern

  • Early shifts: 8:00am-4:00pm / 8:00am-5:00pm / 8:00am-5:30pm
  • Late shifts: 2:30pm-10:30pm / 3:30pm-10:30pm
  • Weekend working: Every other weekend

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of up to 4 key clients, delivering regular key working sessions and personalised support plans
  • Complete ongoing risk and needs assessments
  • Work within a psychologically informed environment to support behavioural change
  • Support clients to sustain their tenancy and achieve successful move-on outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, including statutory services
  • Encourage client participation in community activities and decision-making
  • Support access to education, training, employment, and volunteering opportunities
  • Ensure client safety and wellbeing, following safeguarding and emergency procedures
  • Complete incident reports and submit documentation to management as required

Essential Requirements

  • Experience working with clients with mental health and/or substance misuse needs
  • Experience holding a caseload and completing support plans and assessments
  • Ability to work confidently with challenging behaviour
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, professional boundaries, and confidentiality
  • Experience working with multi-agency teams
  • Confidence working in a psychologically informed environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
