We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumbing Assessor to join an FE college in West London.
This is a long-term temporary opportunity involving a combination of classroom teaching and on-site assessment, supporting Level 3 Plumbing Apprentices throughout their training.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging teaching sessions and carry out workplace assessments to ensure apprentices are developing the skills and knowledge required to achieve their qualifications.
- Job Responsibilities
- Deliver teaching sessions to Level 3 Plumbing Apprentices two days per week.
- Carry out on-site assessments three days per week, assessing apprentices in their workplace.
- Monitor apprentice progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
- Maintain accurate assessment records and ensure work meets the required qualification standards.
Requirements
- A recognised assessor qualification, such as TAQA or A1.
- Strong plumbing industry experience and the ability to assess practical workplace competence.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to support apprentices through their training.
- Competitive hourly rate of £50+ per hour.
