Morgan Hunt are seeking a fully time-served Maintenance Joiner to work within the public sector. This is initially a temporary position, with the potential to lead to a permanent contract. The role involves performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring the upkeep and functionality of public facilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine joinery maintenance.
- Install, repair, and maintain doors, windows, skirtings, flooring and other joinery components.
- Conduct inspections to identify and address potential issues.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
Experience Requirements:
- Fully time-served joiner with proven experience in a similar maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking tools, materials, and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Education Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in joinery or carpentry are essential.
