Part time Independent Mental Capacity Advocate (Qualified)

Location: East London

Contract Type: Temporary contract lasting around 6 Months

Are you passionate about empowering people to have their voices heard in decisions that affect their health, wellbeing, and rights?

We’re looking for a dedicated Independent Advocate to deliver Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA) services to residents in East London/Essex.

As an Independent Advocate, you’ll play a key role in supporting individuals to:

  • Navigate complex decisions related to serious medical treatment, changes in accommodation, care reviews, and safeguarding concerns
  • Understand and exercise their rights under the Mental Capacity Act 2005
  • Make informed NHS complaints and engage in the process with confidence

For this role you will need an Enhanced DBS on the update service.
