This role is ideal for someone with real‑world experience in design, surveying, planning, or the wider construction and built environment sector who is looking to move into education or continue developing their teaching career.
Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and industry‑relevant lessons, helping students develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to progress into employment, apprenticeships, or higher education. You’ll work closely with colleagues and industry partners to ensure the curriculum remains current, practical, and aligned with employer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality teaching across Design, Surveying & Planning T Level programmes
- Develop and adapt curriculum content to meet awarding body and industry standards
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to support achievement
- Support learners both academically and personally throughout their studies
What We're Looking For
- Industry experience within Design, Surveying, Planning, or a related Built Environment discipline
- Previous teaching, training, or mentoring experience ideally within Further Education or T Levels
- Teaching qualification preferred (PGCE, PTLLS, Cert Ed etc.) or willingness to work towards one
