Lecturer in Foundation Learning to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Role
As a Lecturer in Foundation Learning, you will play a key role in delivering engaging learning programmes and supporting students to develop independence, confidence and employability skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and training to Foundation Learning students.
- Develop and adapt learning support programmes and teaching materials.
- Supervise and support a team of Learning Support Assistants.
- Assess learners' individual support needs and monitor their progress.
- Arrange and coordinate appropriate examination access arrangements and additional support.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment where all students can thrive.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- GCSE Maths and English Language at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)
- Experience working in a similar education or support-focused role
- Experience supporting learners with additional needs
- Experience working with post-16 learners
- Evidence of successful classroom practice that motivates and engages students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to continuous professional development (CPD)
- Relevant qualifications or practical experience working with animals (desirable/where applicable)
