A College in Northampton is currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lecturer in Food & Drink (Bakery) to join the Business, Hospitality & Professional Training faculty. About the Role:
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching and training across a range of Food & Drink (Bakery) programmes, supporting both full-time and part-time learners. You will play a key role in course delivery, student support, curriculum development, and practical demonstrations while helping students achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive teaching across Food & Drink (Bakery) courses
- Support, tutor, and monitor student progress and achievement
- Carry out course administration and maintain accurate records

- Support practical demonstrations and workshop-based learning

What We Are Looking For:
- Level 3 qualification in Food & Drink, Bakery, or a related subject
- Relevant industry knowledge and understanding of manufacturing techniques

- Ability to motivate and inspire learners
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above or equivalent)
- Willingness to work towards a teaching qualification if not already held
- Experience within the food industry and/or Further Education environment is desirable
