Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the Supported Learning Team to support and include learners with learning difficulties, disabilities, and other barriers to learning within the curriculum.
  • Support the quality of teaching and learning across curriculum areas.
  • Support the progress and attainment of identified learners with additional SEND/EHCPs to achieve success in their course of study.
  • Promote the highest level of independence for each student while ensuring they are always in a safe and healthy environment.
  • Provide personal care for students who require it.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in learning support or support work with young people with learning disabilities (e.g., autism, ADHD).
  • Experience working within an educational environment providing academic or personal care support.
  • Experience with or willingness to provide personal care support to individuals with high needs.
  • Available to interview immediately.
  • Right to work in the UK and an Enhanced Adult & Child DBS dated within the last 3 months or registered on the update service.
