Our client, a leading health and social care charity, is seeking a National Organisational Development Lead, ensuring sustainable culture, leadership, and practice development across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop the OD team, ensuring high standards, effective delivery, and professional capability.
  • Plan, coordinate, and quality assure the OD work programme across interventions and organisational priorities.
  • Design and deliver complex OD interventions and provide coaching and facilitation to senior leaders.
  • Act as internal OD consultant for complex work, applying adaptive leadership and professional judgement.
  • Lead leadership development, talent management, succession planning, and coaching capability across the organisation.
  • Use data, insight, and evaluation to inform OD practice and continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively across functions to ensure integrated, organisation-wide OD impact.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience leading teams and delivering OD in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver leadership development and change programmes.
  • Experience working across OD and HR/people practice, including understanding employment relations.
  • Strong adaptive leadership, sound judgement, and ability to navigate complexity.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and influencing skills, including with senior leaders.
  • Knowledge of OD, culture change, systems thinking, talent management, and evaluation.
  • Willing to travel nationally as required.
