Are you an experienced maintenance professional with a background in social housing? Looking to step into (or continue in) a leadership role where you can make a real impact on residents' homes and services? We’re partnering with a well-established Housing Association managing around 900 properties across London, who are seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to join their team.
Key duties include:
- Managing and supporting a team of 2 Maintenance Officers
- Overseeing responsive repairs and planned maintenance works
- Monitoring contractor performance against KPIs and SLAs
- Handling Stage 1 & 2 complaints and resolving escalations
- Attending complex repairs and providing technical guidance
- Managing a small number of disrepair cases
- Ensuring full compliance with building regulations and safety standards
About You
- Has experience within social housing, local authority, or housing association settings
- Is confident with building regulations and compliance (gas, electrical, fire safety)
- Has experience managing contractors and service delivery
- Is comfortable handling complaints and working in a tenant‑facing environment
- Is organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000. Hybrid working (4 days office‑based, Fridays from home). Opportunity to join a close‑knit, supportive organisation. Immediate start available.
