What you'll be doing
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons for learners with SEND.
- Teaching skills that support independence, employability and everyday life.
- Adapting activities and resources to suit different learning and communication needs.
- Tracking progress against individual learning targets and EHCP outcomes.
- Working with support staff and wider college teams to create a positive learning environment.
What we're looking for
- Experience teaching learners with SEND or within Foundation Learning.
- A recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
- Confidence differentiating lessons for learners with a range of needs.
- A patient, creative approach and strong classroom communication skills.
- Experience delivering Functional Skills or accredited Entry Level programmes would be beneficial.
