About the Role
We are currently seeking an organised and detail-oriented Exams Officer to join a college in North London on a temporary basis, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. You will play a key role in the smooth running of all examinations, ensuring compliance with awarding body regulations and maintaining accurate exam administration processes. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and administer all internal and external examinations
- Liaise with awarding bodies regarding exam entries, registrations, and results
- Prepare examination timetables and communicate arrangements to staff and students
- Ensure exam procedures comply with JCQ and awarding body regulations
- Organise exam venues, invigilators, and necessary materials
- Maintain accurate student and examination records
- Process exam results and support with post-results services where required
- Provide administrative support related to examinations and assessments
About You
- Previous experience working as an Exams Officer or within school/college administration
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Good knowledge of exam processes and regulations - desirable
- Excellent communication and IT skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Desirable
- Experience using exam management systems such as SIMS or EBS
- Knowledge of JCQ regulations and awarding body procedures
- Experience working within an FE college or school environment
