Responsibilities of English GCSE Lecturer role:

• Working in the English Department, you will be working with a variety of learners and be expected to meet standards of work
• Providing additional tutorial and pastoral support to students across the College as required
• Delivery of GCSE English
• This is an ongoing contract for 30 hours a week (Monday- Thursday- 7 hours each day, 2 hours on Friday)
• Looking to start ASAP at least until Christmas

Requirements of a English GCSE Lecturer:

• A UK recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent
• Experience of delivering the subject.
• English Degree is desirable
• A current DBS on the update service
