Recovery Worker

Pay: £18.00 per hour
Contract: 3-Month Temporary Assignment

We're recruiting on behalf of an established and respected substance misuse charity for an experienced Recovery Worker to join their friendly team in Worthing (BN11).
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by helping individuals affected by drug and alcohol misuse achieve lasting recovery.
The Role
- Manage your own caseload of clients.
- Complete assessments, recovery plans and risk assessments.
- Deliver one-to-one keyworking sessions and tailored recovery support.
- Provide harm reduction advice and interventions.
- Signpost clients to housing, healthcare, employment and other support services.
- Maintain accurate case notes and records.
- Work closely with partner agencies and multidisciplinary teams.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within substance misuse, addiction, recovery or support services.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk management.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A compassionate, non-judgemental approach.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) may be required.
