Morgan Hunt requires a Business Manager/Executive Assistant for NHS based in West Sussex.

Pay Rate: £22ph to £25ph Ltd

Hours: 37.5, 9am to 5pm Mon to Fri - Hybrid working available 3 to 4 days a week.

Location: West Sussex

Duration: 2 months ongoing contract

Role Overview: This is a senior business support role providing direct support to the Chief Nursing Officer and the wider directorate. The post holder will oversee business management functions, lead on performance reporting, support service improvement, and provide high-level administrative and project management support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business management functions, including performance reporting and data analysis
  • Provide project management support, including monitoring progress and managing delegated budgets
  • Manage the Chief Officer's diary, priorities, and commitments
  • Produce, analyse, and present complex performance and business reports
  • Develop and maintain performance management systems and information processes
  • Support service planning, improvement, and delivery against targets
  • Organise and service senior-level meetings (agenda setting, minutes, actions)
  • Line manage administrative staff within the directorate
  • Represent the directorate at internal and external meetings as required
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately

Key Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong experience in business management and performance reporting
  • Experience in project management (PRINCE2 or similar desirable)
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience analysing and presenting complex data
  • Line management experience
  • Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
