Overview
Morgan Hunt requires a Catering Admin Support Officer for NHS based in Central London.
Pay rate: £20ph Ltd.
Duration: 4 months (ongoing contract).
DBS: Enhanced DBS required or willing to undertake DBS check.
Responsibilities
- Support the Catering Team performance and administration in the implementation and management of the catering service delivery model.
- Collate, analyse and report performance information to feed into Trust Board and Directorate Performance meetings.
- Co-ordinate reports and papers within required timescales; capture action notes and prepare for meetings.
- Manage day-to-day administration, maintenance of information and records to support service operation.
- Work with the Trust Finance team in the administration and control of the catering department budget.
- Manage food ordering and procurement processes and liaise with Dietetics team and external suppliers.
- Develop and maintain constructive relationships with Facilities managers, clinical teams, IPP and other external customers and suppliers.
- Support day-to-day operational administration for the catering team and contribute to profitability and revenue management onsite.
- Produce detailed financial reports for site catering operations, including invoices management and stock reconciliation, with the finance team.
- Additional duties
- Assist in producing complex and detailed information for internal and external reporting, ensuring data quality and meeting deadlines.
- Maintain a library of reports and outcomes and establish action logs for reviews.
- Undertake analysis of performance information with the Business Performance Manager; use data query tools and spreadsheets to extract and manipulate data for performance reports.
- Contribute to the design and development of corporate reports in collaboration with the Business Performance Manager.
- Prepare and present statistical information using graphical or verbal formats to stakeholders at all levels.
- Ensure the Catering Management System is live and correctly managed by users with access.
- Manage Trust policies and procedures; ensure sickness and annual leave are recorded; update STS Food/Safety System; conduct and record management audits.
- Ensure staff training records are complete, up to date and properly filed.
- Manage cash receipting, including reconciliation of cash and cashless payments, with processes documented and audited.
- Provide other administrative support to the Head of Catering as needed for smooth service operation.
Note: This role involves coordination with multiple departments and external stakeholders to ensure effective catering operations within the NHS trust.
