Morgan Hunt are working with a national Charity who are looking for an SEN Employability Tutor in Wakefield. This is a full time permanent role paying between £26,000 - £32,000 (depending on qualifications and experience). The role will involve delivering Employability programmes including Functional Skills to post‑16 learners with special needs. The role will be based on site 5 days per week working at their location in Wakefield.
Responsibilities
- Planning, creating and delivering engaging Employability programmes including Functional Skills
- Providing advice and guidance to learners to overcome barriers to secure employment
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes
- Working with the quality team to ensure standards are maintained
Requirements
- Have Level 3 Teaching qualification or equivalent (the client may consider someone without a Level 3 qualification if they have teaching experience)
- Experience in teaching learners with special educational needs
- Demonstrate a successful track record in delivering Employability programmes or Functional Skills
- Be willing to work on site 5 days per week
