- Service Type: 68-bed men's hostel providing 24/7 specialist support
About the Service:
This hostel supports men with a range of complex needs including substance misuse, mental health challenges, rough sleeping history, criminal justice involvement, and self-care difficulties. The service provides high-quality accommodation-based support with the aim of helping residents stabilise and move towards greater independence.
About the Role
The Complex Needs Project Worker is a specialist position focused on engaging individuals who may be harder to reach or support. The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Build strong professional relationships with residents with multiple disadvantages
- Provide person-centred and trauma-informed support
- Work within a psychologically informed environment (PIE) framework
- Support residents to develop life skills and progress towards independent living
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies
Ideal candidates will have experience in:
- Homelessness / supported housing services
- Working with complex needs clients
- Mental health and/or substance misuse support
- Trauma-informed practice
