Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in Northamptonshire is looking to recruit a Subsidy Officer to provide support throughout a busy period.
This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35 and will offer home working.
Key Responsibilities
- Proficiently use the Academy (Capita) Revenues and Benefits processing system.
- Accurately assess and process benefit claims in line with legislation and guidance.
- Assist in the preparation and completion of Housing Benefit subsidy returns and claims, working closely with auditors.
- Identify and address development needs of officers through subsidy checking, supporting the Training and Resilience team.
- Conduct reviews of benefit claims, including complex cases such as homeless, hostels, self‑employed, students, and persons from abroad.
- Ensure the Council's subsidy position is optimised and income is maximised.
