Responsibilities

  • Inspiring teaching: Plan and deliver high‑quality, engaging practical and theoretical sessions on the Adult Nursing T Level and other programmes as required, helping learners prepare for assessments, exams and the employer set project.
  • Course leadership: Lead the team of subject specialists delivering on the T Level, supporting their development of innovative and engaging resources and ensuring the programme is of the highest standard.
  • Industry connection: Draw directly on your clinical nursing background to bring authentic healthcare practice into the classroom, working closely with the Industry Placement Team and NHS partners to keep delivery grounded in sector reality.
  • Learner success: Track and monitor learner progress, maintain accurate records, submit required statistical data promptly and ensure every learner is supported to achieve their potential.
  • Pastoral support: Act as personal tutor to a group of students, attending course tutor meetings and keeping parents and guardians informed about learning, behaviour, safeguarding and other key matters.
  • Curriculum development: Contribute to the development of curriculum materials, liaise with part‑time colleagues and attend team meetings to keep the programme current, innovative and effective.
  • Professional development: Engage in CPD, including industrial placement opportunities, to keep your subject specialism current and develop your teaching practice.
