Role Overview
Morgan Hunt are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join a dynamic project delivery team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the technical accuracy and quality of construction activities across a range of civil and structural engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Set out, level, and survey the site in accordance with project drawings and specifications
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with current health and safety regulations and company policies
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and other site personnel to ensure smooth coordination of activities
- Monitor and report on progress, quality and compliance with design specifications
- Assist in the preparation of site reports, method statements, risk assessments and quality documentation
- Provide technical support to the site team and resolve any engineering issues that arise during construction
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, materials and measurements
- Support the implementation of environmental and sustainability initiatives on site
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Proven experience in a site engineering role within the construction industry
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
- Proficient in using surveying equipment (e.g., total station, GPS)
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and other relevant software
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- CSCS card and relevant health & safety certifications (e.g., SMSTS or SSSTS) preferred
