Role Overview

Morgan Hunt are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join a dynamic project delivery team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the technical accuracy and quality of construction activities across a range of civil and structural engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set out, level, and survey the site in accordance with project drawings and specifications
  • Ensure all works are carried out in line with current health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and other site personnel to ensure smooth coordination of activities
  • Monitor and report on progress, quality and compliance with design specifications
  • Assist in the preparation of site reports, method statements, risk assessments and quality documentation
  • Provide technical support to the site team and resolve any engineering issues that arise during construction
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, materials and measurements
  • Support the implementation of environmental and sustainability initiatives on site

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in a site engineering role within the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
  • Proficient in using surveying equipment (e.g., total station, GPS)
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and other relevant software
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • CSCS card and relevant health & safety certifications (e.g., SMSTS or SSSTS) preferred
